I'm on a strong mission right now to get off social media. I want to see beautiful art without ads. I want my slow and wandering thoughts back. Knowing that systems trying to mine our attention lurk around every corner can really get me down, and it creates some real fire in me to change everything about it that I can. So, I will create a space here under my own terms. Here's to sharing art and still having space to daydream. Sit around and let creative ideas come to you, write a letter to a friend, write a blog, play music, look at the clouds, and take good care out there.
In June my husband and I traveled to Ireland for friends and music. There were ephemeral nights of playing tunes that I didn't capture visually, yet they are some of my strongest memories. Visually and texturally, there were a lot of great rocks. I hope you enjoy taking a tour through these photos. These are all unedited, digital frames from a magical place.
I studied abroad in Cork in the spring of 2014. Stepping back onto this island for the first time since then felt like dusting off an old, sweet hug from something(one) much bigger than myself.
